TheInfoPro partners with India-based Evangelists

TheInfoPro (TIP) has announced a strategic partnership with New Delhi-based Evangelists, a provider of information technology research, advisory and strategic consulting services. The alliance unites the companies on specific research projects, and grants Evangelists the TIP reseller rights in India. Evangelists and TIP will collaborate on an indepth study of the outsourcing market specifically in the IMS (Infrastructure Management Services) and EAS (Enterprise Applications Services) domains. Expert commentators will include decision makers from Global 2000 companies residing in India, Europe, and the United States.

"Our clients have asked us to deploy TIP's research process of one on one interviews with decision makers from the Global 2000 to the burgeoning Outsourcing market," notes Ken Male the CEO and founder of TIP. "The global IT Outsourcing market is projected to exceed $250 billion by the end of the decade, making peer-based research essential for sound decision making. India has established itself as the leader for delivery capability, with the potential for unabated growth. After careful evaluation, we are happy to choose Evangelists as our partner for the research study on the booming Indian IT outsourcing industry," adds Male.

"The need for fundamental, "grass roots" research for the IT industry is substantial, and TIP's approach of in-depth interviews with decision makers for key IT domains has been extremely well received by technology professionals and corporations. Deploying TIP's methodology to the Sourcing sector will provide insight that is much needed for this burgeoning market," comments Gideon Gartner, the founder of Gartner, Giga Information Group (now Forrester Research) and Soundview (now UBS), who is an advisor to TheInfoPro.

"We are extremely pleased that TheInfoPro has selected Evangelists as its partner for undertaking market research on the Indian IT outsourcing industry and intend to assiduously implement TIP's research process in the country," said Nitin Paul, Founder and CEO of Evangelists. "TIP's core constituencies have asked that they investigate the use of outsourced services, IMS and EAS specifically, and we are excited to interview Multi-National Corporations (MNCs) with Indian operations. Aggregating the views of CIOs, CTOs, and the executives that manage the outsourcing relationship will provide keen insight into the state of the Indian market, what functions are being sourced, how deals are structured, and how satisfied they are with current providers," he added.

As part of the partnership agreement, Evangelists can sell TIP reports in India, including Information Security, Networking, Servers and Storage. These reports will be targeted at the growing number of Indian IT companies interested in knowing the technology buying trends of Global 2000 companies.
