CMP Technology's EE Times and TechOnline today announced a series of editorial management changes, including the consolidation of the EE Times and TechOnline editorial teams and formation of a new market research unit. The new EE Times Intelligence Unit will be established and led by Loring Wirbel, Senior Analyst, who will work closely with Heavy Reading, a research publication of CMP's Light Reading.

Wirbel will be responsible for producing highly specialized research and analytical market reports.
