Hitwise adds more online consumer insights to blog and RSS

Hitwise has pumped up the stream of online consumer statistics freely available through its company blog and RSS feeds. The new category, Hitwise To Go, is sliced by region and samples the broad range of Hitwise research. It's pushed through blog, RSS and email. Typical topics include the growth of newly launched websites, rankings of popular websites, and recent search trends and online activiity around current events, industries, demographic profiles or social group segments.

The new service provides an extensive view of how more than 25 million Internet users (10M in the US), search and interact online across more than 900,000 unique websites each day.

"Hitwise To Go provides a venue to instantly share with the broader online community timely online usage data," said Tessa Court, chief marketing officer, Hitwise.

Hitwise To Go can be accessed through the righthand navigation options on Hitwise Analyst Weblogs pages. An RSS feed is available for users to receive data points as they are published. The service will operate in the US, UK and Asia Pacific markets.
