Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) today announced that well-known ITSM and ITIL authority Hank Marquis has joined the firm as Director of IT Service Management Consulting. Mr. Marquis will work closely with IT organizations and IT vendors to implement and optimize IT service management practices into their operations and products.

"Hank is an IT service management expert who truly understands all sides of today’s IT equation -- IT vendor, IT practitioner and IT-dependent business consumer," said Dan Twing, EMA’s COO. "His experience in building and deploying IT service management programs, as well as his CobiT and advanced ITIL certifications, will help strengthen our IT services offerings and provide invaluable insights for our enterprise customers."

Mr. Marquis comes to EMA with more than 27 years of experience. He held operational management positions at MCI, rose to a senior management position at Compuware, was Chief Information Officer at e-commerce financial services provider Celexis, VP of Marketing and Chief Technology Officer at management software company Opticom, and most recently was a Managing Partner at itSM Solutions, an IT/management coaching, training, and consulting firm.

He earned his Master of Communications Technology from the American Institute in New York City, NY in 1988, and he continues a strong relationship with academia. He has pursued doctoral studies in Organizational Psychology at Southern California University of Professional Studies. In addition, he holds the highest recognized IT management certification, the British Computer Society/ISEB Managers Certificate in IT Service Management with Distinction in Service Delivery.
