Ideas International (IDEAS), the US subsidiary of Ideas International Limited (ASX:IDE) has signed a distribution agreement with US-based competitive intelligence research firm Current Analysis, Inc. The agreement covers the US and EMEA regions and is aimed at bringing the best of both companies to the IDEAS customer base, while promoting its services to Current Analysis clients and prospects.
Stephen Bowhill, Ideas International CEO, commented, “This is a win-win arrangement. Current Analysis is a talented analyst firm serving markets parallel to our own, with a blue chip client base in the telecom market that Ideas International can leverage. Large telecom clients of IDEAS already benefit from using our server consolidation and carbon tool (Server CAR), but Current Analysis’ reach is greater than ours due to its much broader sales network, especially in the US market.”
The partner organisations use a very similar research methodology which allows for easy integration of information and tools from IDEAS into the Current Analysis offering. Bowhill noted that the two organisations are culturally similar as well.
Ray Keneipp, Current Analysis CEO, said, “The partnership with IDEAS helps Current Analysis round out its product offering, with the addition of server coverage allowing us to better serve our clients. The Server CAR tool and extensive server coverage in conjunction with our networking and telecom services coverage will allow Current Analysis to strengthen its IT Connection service providing our enterprise customers with a complete solution for evaluating computing, networking and telecom services.”
