In a special edition of the First Thing Monday, AMR Research Chief Research Officer Bruce Richardson says he plans to make the transition to Gartner and describes the benefits of the deal for AMR employees and clients. Richardson says for clients, all research, client services, and sales contacts will remain the same -- "all are being retained by Gartner."
He acknowledges that the M&A announcement will focus on AMR Research's supply chain expertise. However, the 40 AMR analysts will continue to provide extensive analysis on enterprise applications, infrastructure, and services.
Richardson also highlights benefits of the deal from his perspective:
