Celent, a Boston-based financial research and consulting firm, launched two blogs earlier this year. One covers Banking, the other covers Insurance. Both industries are evolving rapidly, and Celent plans to use the blogs to share its perspectives in a convenient, real time, informal manner.
"The blog gives us another means of delivering the Celent viewpoint," says Bart Narter, senior vice president of Celent’s Banking Group.
Those who track banking industry issues will gain additional Celent insights via the blog. The global team of banking analysts will all contribute posts to the blog regularly. Celent will still reach out to clients and research contacts as usual, and clients will see the same flow of reports.
Banking topics that have already been addressed by blog posts include the role of blogs in Web 2.0 and healthcare banking trends. Future posts will mirror Celent’s coverage focus on retail and business banking, corporate banking, healthcare banking, IT and business strategies, and any hot topics that emerge. For more, visit http://bankingblog.celent.com/.
Insurance topics that already have been addressed by blog posts include the impact of the financial crisis, legacy modernization, and best practices in conducting technology proof of concepts. Future posts will mirror Celent’s coverage focus on core systems, IT and business strategies, and any hot topics that emerge. For more, visit http://insuranceblog.celent.com.
