“A critical part of the process of gathering, analyzing, and delivering market information is the formation of relationships with key individuals at manufacturers or distribution channel participants,” says PMA’s president, Dr. William Coggshall. “As challenging as it is to extract meaning from the raw data, it is often even more challenging to convince manufacturers, distributors, resellers, and retailers to part with sensitive data or to purchase value-added reports. Ms. Norton has demonstrated extremely strong people and process skills that have been a key to the respect PMA enjoys in the projector industry.”
At PMA her previous role as Director, Channel Recruiting focused primarily on recruiting and coordinating with distributors, resellers, and retailers for the PMA family of Tracking Service panels. Prior to joining the PMA in 2002, Ms. Norton spent 10 years in the presentation / display products industry in a variety of sales, marketing and management positions with companies such as Boxlight, InFocus, and Genigraphics. Positions with those companies included Regional Sales Representative, National Account Manager, New Product and Channel Development and Product Marketing Management. Her “real-world” experience in the display products industry makes her well qualified to work with tracking panel participants and clients alike. Prior to working in the display industry, Ms. Norton held sales and management positions in the Computer Rental, Employment Recruitment and Retail segments.
Linda Norton holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State College, Long Beach.
