Holland brings a deep understanding of the mobile content industry and the mobile commerce and payment models that enable it.

Prior to joining ABI Research, Nick Holland was a senior analyst at Aite Group, where he produced primary research-driven reports on key issues impacting the intersection of technology, payments and security. He also provided consulting services to card networks, handset vendors and many of the top ten US financial institutions. Earlier, he served as senior analyst within the CMT Group of Pyramid Research, and as director of the Emerging Technologies Advisory Service at Mercator Advisory Group.
He has been quoted and published in a wide variety of industry and financial media, including BusinessWeek, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, American Banker, and Information Week, and has chaired sessions and addressed several industry events including the GSM CEE, the FMC / Quad Play Congress, Card Tech Secure Tech and Card Forum.
Nick Holland holds a BA (Honors) in History of Art & Design from De Montfort University, Leicester, England, and MSc (Distinction) in Information Systems Management at the University of Stirling, in Scotland.
