Yankee Group partners with TIA

Yankee Group and the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) recently announced the start of a formal relationship, whereby Yankee Group will provide strategic counsel and industry research to TIA. The companies will also partner to enhance the USA Pavilion presence at ITU Telecom events around the world.

"We are very pleased to be invited to provide our expert advice and research to such a prestigious organization as TIA", said Emily Green, president and CEO of Yankee Group. "Yankee Group and TIA share a vision of global connectivity based not only on technology but also the impact those technologies have on societies, businesses and consumers in every culture. At Yankee Group, we continue to explore new drivers for demand of technology leading to the rise of the Anywhere Enterprise(TM) and Anywhere Consumer(TM)."

TIA, based in Arlington, Virginia, represents thousands of information and communications technology (ICT) professional in standards, government affairs, market intelligence, and product-oriented environmental compliance. Furthermore, TIA is the official organizer of the USA Pavilion at ITU TELECOM events held in every region of the world.

Through its network of international relationships, TIA will continue to provide insight into the needs of expanding markets and represent its membership at gatherings of global policy makers and major international events.
