Lisa Rowan, IDC's director of HR and Talent Management Research, has been recognized by the International Association for Human Resources Information Management (IHRIM) with the IHRIM 2008 Summit Award.

IHRIM’s Summit Award recognizes members who have made significant, long-term contributions to the advancement of IHRIM's mission and goals, and have facilitated the exchange of ideas, solutions and information about issues impacting the industry.

Ms. Rowan will receive her award Monday, June 2 at IHRIM’s 2008 Conference and Technology Exposition in Orlando, Fla.

Rowan's influence and industry impact was recognized earlier this year as she was named to both HRO Today magazine’s 2008 list "Top HRO Super Stars" and HR World’s "Top 25 Influencers of 2007." Rowan began contributing insight to the industry early on in her analyst career and was named IDC's Rookie of the Year in 2004.

Rowan is frequently quoted in the mainstream press and is a sought after speaker at events ranging from Oracle OpenWorld to LRP Magazine's annual HR Technology conference.
