The CEATEC JAPAN Management Office is accepting applications for the CEATEC JAPAN 2008 Official Media Tour, which will take place in October. The theme for 2008 is "Digital convergence: onward to a new stage." The tour offers international media and industry analysts a wide range of services, speaker access, and exclusive events, including special tours of exhibitor facilities.

The CEATEC Japan 2008 Official Media Tour departs from Europe and the U.S. on September 28th, and ends on October 4th. The participation fee (US $2,000 / euro 1,700, as of this posting) covers transportation, accommodations and other expenses. Application deadline: July 31, 2008.
